i normally train 5 times a week, for 2. 5 hrs a day...one hours weights, one hour cardio and 30 mins in the pool, but since i dislocated my shoulder, havent had the chance to do anything...

Erm yeah i do excerise like idance around my room and i walk alot i love the summer because i ride a lot around my local reservior but i shud go gym.
I wish that i could go swimming i miss that :(

I excerise to keep my self fit and healthy. It keeps my mind sane aswell

Everyday except not much on weekends. :p
im a girl and i probably should but i dont.... probably should just to stay healthy but oh well... too lazy :rolleyes:

Only done exercises in ma house with my siblings a couple of times and woke up the next day to have muscle pain, grr,
But I guess everyone should a little bit.

I'd say It's harder for you as a girl to play football in your years after school. It's not a popular sport amongst girls is it? [i'm talking about playing, not just watching]

mashaAllah, that's a pretty good routine.
I run about 3-5 miles, plus 100 situps & 100 push ups, 5 days a week.
tennis, football or basketball on the weekends.
i love exercising.

Skipping is good for cardio really. So is treadmil and crosstrainer. I don't skip for long - just 10 minutes.
240 situps in reps of 40 and 20.

there aren't many opportunities for sisers where i live, the nearest women's gym is about 45 mins away :( and my local gym has no ladies onyl sessions:torture:
i really want to get fit but it's hard

once ur in the right frame of mind to get fit....its easy to progress day by day...
day one u do 5 mins cardio
next day u do 7 mins
next day 10 mins
so on etc...
and then b4 u know it u will be doing 1 hr sessions..
guys do not fret. You can still do your workouts at home. Just do some free excercises? Situps,pressups, skipping is real good. and errrm..we should have a thread in ladies section. :o

i dont excerise, i used to but cant be asked, got so much uni work to do and parents on my backside, i have a skipping rope but its lying on my floor doing nothing and free weights they still on the floor for over 2 months. oh dee dums. but hey thats me, im a lazy guy when it comes to excercise, id do it for a week and then get lazy :D

This is what I do for excercise: Eat lost of yummy sugary stuff, then get hyper from sugar overdose, run, jump, laugh and it all goes away. :D
of course you need the metabolism of a teen though.
Yep...I try and cram in as much exercise as I can.
Allah :Swt: has given the body rights too and it should be looked after and maintained. :)

It honestly doesn't take much. :) Just keep at it, you'll be there in no time. :D
I used to only be able to do 30 of situps and 30 pushups (when I started off), but I was over the 100 mark in no time.
Not as much as Bint :p because I seem to get bored really easily, or end up laughing.
You see them pounds rolling off and it gets you even more determined. That's what happened to me. :p

If you've got stairs in your house u could up and down for about 20 mins everyday...
You could get a skipping rope and skip (just dont do it up-stairs tho,u'll end up shaking the entire house :p)
You could play 'it' with ur younger siblings...(n get told off by ur parents)
Or you cud just go buy some excersise books and try em at home:up:
I used to go kick-boxing at local gym but i need to start again...n i have to pick my lil sis up from school everyday,and her schools quite far so i get about 40 mins walk on weekdays:up:

I do. I jog every morning, go to the gym 5 days a week after work. Oh and on holidays (i.e. Fridays and Saturdays) I play basketball.

Before I had my 5 kids I was doing exercise but now I have no more time ... Only exercise I can do it's to run after them to keep them on track....
i once asked my neighbour who lives over the way from me and who has no reason to come near my home at all , not to sit outside my home and smoke cigarettes and drink wine or scrub her horse riding saddles outside my front door step because of the smell it brings in my home, and the mess of smelly horse muck all over the corridor and when she leaves them open the rain comes in and leaves 2 foot sq. puddles of water on all the landings and i slipped and fell and smashed my kneecap on the tile floor because of it, which has caused permenant damage
so now because i asked her not do to that anymore, out of spite for the last 4 years she gets her boyfreind,to open all the windows in the corridor right outside my front door which makes my home the same temprature as it is outside in 10 minutes flat, theres no point putting the fires on anymore, so after he leaves for work at 6am i go out and shut them, then run down 2 flights of stairs and shut all the doors and windows downstairs...
then she leaves for work an hour later she opens them all again and i go out and shut them all again....
then her son leaves for school an hour later and he opens them all again lol then she comes back 3 hours after that and opens them all again so i go out again, then her boyfreind finished work at 2pm an opens them all again, son come back at 3pm opens them all again, in fact sometimes i do about 12 trips a day up and down the stairs the last one at about midnight and weekends are worse because she is in an out all day and night long till 2am so masha Allah i get a lot of exercise alhamdulillah @)

i just realised yesterday my gym membership has expired since end Jan. No wonder the gym lady never called me anymore. Which means i have not been to the gym since last X'mas period.... what have i been busy with that i have neglected my exercise....? :nervous:

lol tell me about it ukhti, even the 80 mph winds and crazy storms we just had, didnt deter her from opening all the doors and windows honestly the lengths some ppl will go to to try and annoy someone eh anyway its good exercise for me :up: alhamdulillah

i walk on average 4km a day briskly..i'm 8 months pregnant so thats enough for me, usually i try to do more though...

shes a total nutter maybe one day the wind will blow the windows in on her (inshaallah)

thats plenty of exercise....
but do try and get to a sisters only exercise class its a nice break from the children, there are sisters with 4/5 kids at ours..subhannallah we are not super fit but we have a laugh!:up:
I don't even walk much let alone excercise lol :o
I used to excercise, but now I don't seem to have time. Which is really bad coz the other day I was walking up a steep road and I found it exausting and I walked up that hill everyday all through secondary school, college and uni and it was fine....I making myself go old quicker lol I think I should go now and find time otherwise at this rate I'll become an OLD GRANNY before I reach 30!!!!! :eek:
