Na'am the 'Adhaab al Ikhtilaaf' event held near abouts this time last year in March was the Tayyibun Institute's first Annual Conference which had Shaykh Haitham, Ustadh Abdul Aleem, and Shaykh Solaiman in attendance (Ustadh Murtaza was scheduled but had to be with family that day).
Alhamdulillah that in itself was packed out however the event of the year is far bigger than ever before with whole day event from morning until evening with more teachers and scholars set to join us insha'allah to share their knowledge on varied topics, more activities and videos, a full take over of the entire centre (Brady) to ourselves with separate facilities for each gender (ie. sisters only area with stalls, activities, etc).
A Bank Holiday blockbuster event for all- not to be missed, and as per usual alhamdulillah completely free for our brothers and sisters but all donations for the community work most welcome insha'allah.
Please spread the word, jezak'allah.
Na'am the 'Adhaab al Ikhtilaaf'

Yes i remember now. It was an excellent event mashaAllah, Tayyibun are doing really well alhamdulillah, even though they are still quite new. InshaAllah this event will also be a success, excellent topics too. MashaAllah!

Make du'a that the Allah (swt) keeps the Institute firm upon the Sunnah strengthened with our scholars advice and guidance and that he accepts the efforts for his sake- Ameen.

A Brief Bio of Shaykh Abu Muntasir al- Balouchi
Shaykh Abdul Rahmaan (Abu Muntasir) al-Balouchi completed his secondary education in Iran, after which he was admitted to the Islaamic University of Madinah Munawwarahin 1979 where he studied Arabic before joining the Usul'uddeen (Principles of Faith) and Da'wah college. He reached his second year of studies before the policy to expel Iranian students was implemented. He went to Syria to complete his Shari'ah studies at Damascus university, were he graduated in 1984.
He also studied under the scholars of Damascus, such as Shaykh Abdul Qadir al Arna' out and others. Upon graduation, he enrolled for his Masters degree at al Awza'y college in Beirut were he graduated in 1989. His thesis was on the Balouchi people and Baluchistan. He enrolled for his PHD at the same time college and graduated in 1995. His PHD thesis was on 'The Transformation of Islaamic Thought In Iran from Sunni to Shia during the Safawi Rule.' This same topic was not accepted for his Masters Degree owing to certain political reasons. He currently directs the Ahlus Sunnah Association of Iran, London Office.
He is well-known for his regular appearances on the London based arabic language channel, 'Al-Mustaqillah' on the program 'Al-Munadharaat' featuring debates between Sunni and Shi'a scholars. He currently delivers lectures on another channel in the Farsi language and is working on opening his own Farsi language channel insha'Allaah. The Shaykh is known for his uncompromising stance in his defence Sunni Islaam, the companions (ra) and the mothers of the believers (ra) while maintaining his sincere desire to do nothing but guide those lost back to Islaam.
May Allaah azza wa jall protect the Shaykh and our brothers and sisters of Ahlus Sunnah- Ameen.

Our Iranian Sheikh Al-Baloushi is back and will be delivering a lecture on inshaAllah.
He is Iranian but Iran is comprised of people from different ethnic backgrounds namely Persians, Azeris (Turkic origin), Arabs, Kurds and Baluchis. You can read more about that here in Post 11 inshaAllah http://sunnairan.wordpress.com/2008/...an/#comment-39 (http://sunnairan.wordpress.com/2008/01/05/the-mirage-in-iran/#comment-39)

ooh he must be cool then  mA
why were Iranians expelled from the uni?
It was to do with Shia uprising with 'Ayotollahs' and their 'revolution' Shiaism effects with Rafidhi corruption in belief and propaganda spreading everywhere.
So to put a halt on that many Iranians (whether Shia or otherwise) and non-Iranian Shia were ousted from the land to quell the fitnah.
There was quite a lot of that at the time with sudden violent demos and anti-Sunni pamphlets/books with battil being accepted by the mainstream- so sadly some of the innocent Sunni brothers from Iran and other lands also felt the effects of what was a sincere effort to preserve the haqq.
oh racism :|
so was the shaykh iranian or balauchi
does he have any work published?

More self and society preservation rather than racism as such.
From the little I know the Shaykh is Balouchi of origin yet his family resided in Iran (eg. ones parents can be of one/varied lands, you born in another not of your parents, then study and live in another, etc) hence can be said to be of many lands and from more than one land/ background.
Our brother Shaolin knows more on the Shaykh than I masha'allah so he may be of more help in this regard.
Some may not be aware and the Shaykh humbly does not say but many of the dear Shaykh's family members have been persecuted and killed by the Shia regime- may Allah (swt) purify and forgive then and accept them as Shuhadaa- Ameen.

I absolutely love Dr Khalid Khan's no nonsense approach lol. Wednesday night's Islamqa program on Islam Channel every week is a testament to that mashaAllah.

Which courses are you all enrolled on and how are you finding them?
Personally I rather not say which particular courses as I have completed some and am still studying others, but alhamdulillah they have all been excellent so far bro- well structured and taught, good timings, the brothers masha'allah are super, the Ustadhs are down to earth and understanding, the prices are more than reasonable if one compares to others who charge excessively- way too much! And of course the environment cannot get any better as its completely fitnah free.
So Akhy all in all I have only positive matters to relate alhamdulillah. :)

Alhamdulillah through Allah's help the Institute has grown and is expanding, the community is sharing in the barakah and sharing in the hasanaat masha'allah.
Insha'allah from what I am aware the lectures are being recorded by the brothers of the Institute internally therefore though the event is free for all to attend, learn, and benefit alhamdulillah external media/ recording isn't being permitted on the premises. After that is completed the brothers when able will make the material accessible to the masses through whatever means they conclude is best.
Barak'allahu Feek.

Although Murtadha Khan was very good and I especially liked his insight into the subject of 'Al Ghuraaba' - the auctioning part was kinda annoying, I mean of course sisters would have more to spend generally they don;t have to look after the family as a fardh like us brothers do!

But it has to be said generally regardless of family commitments and responsibilities of all (as sisters have their share too though different) it is more often the case in these times then not that sisters do give more so for the cause of Islam than brothers whether that be with their effort, time, income, etc. and that cannot be denied, we brothers need to do more.
Alhamdulillah though at the Conference the brothers broke that generalisation and gave more then them, ajeeb but true.
The venue is quite big if you take into account the entire premises which Tayyibun booked out (take into consideration capacity wise and the areas that brothers had no access to due to segregation masha'allah) but the attendance was huge throughout so could not cater to the needs of Tayyibun events which are always high alhamdulillah, but masha'allah thats still good as it is pleasing to know so many brothers (and sisters) came to learn and benefit.

excellent lectures, good food, good environment. unfortunately the venue was a bit small alhamdulillah the turnout was very good mashaAllah.
Masha'allah bro it was really beneficial, every lecture and programme of events from Ustadh Abu Talha's first lecture all the way until the end Q&A session with Ustadh Abu Talha, Ustadh Dr. Khaled, and Shaykh Haitham was just too good alhamdulillah.
I really don't know what Tayyibun Institute can do regarding the venue as few are suitable in terms of:
1. The numbers: Alhamdulillah there is barakah in what they do so in their events and activities many brothers and sisters in high numbers attend masha'allah- finding a local venue that can host the amount of crowds that Tayyibun manage to bring in time and time again with Allah's help is difficult.
2. Segregation: For the Conference/ Seminar to be truly Islamic as Tayyibun require the venue itself needs to be able to facilitate a segregation system with suitable separate areas for each gender, otherwise they will rather not do the event at all.
3. Community: As Tayyibun does not want to rip the community off they insists that their Conferences and Seminars need to be either completely free for all or if unavoidable at little expense to our brothers and sisters who wish to attend so as they either pay nothing or at least the minimum amount is still affordable to the average Muslim insha'allah.
When they did last years Conference at LMC it was full, when they did this years Conference in Brady Centre it was in max capacity too alhamdulillah then you look at other potential venues then they are too costly which will mean the attendees need to be charged or they have not the facilities/ capacity to cater for Muslim audiences in such high numbers that alhamdulillah Tayyibun can gather.
yeh masha'allah it was good, i was scared jus incase sum1 from the audience , from a 'specific' group didn't attack him!!!! alhamdillah!!
If they or any other had dared to try any fitnah on an Ustadh or Shaykh let alone any brother/ sister in attendance at the event somehow I doubt they would have got away without receiving some 'dawah' from those present.
lol sis in that gathering, they would've got skinned alive and hung up by their filthy necks.
Disclaimer: No comment lol, no they wouldn't of dared to try it bro, if they were insane enough to do so though the organisors were on hand to deal with such trouble makers and just wouldn't stand for that, khalas.
Did you hear the nasihah and qiraat of Ustadh Hassan al-Maghribi masha'allah? :D
