Disable your own account by changing your password.
Don't pick a password, just type letters or numbers in randomly, and then you'll have no idea how to log in.

I don't understand why ummah.com don't allow users to delete their accounts, or don't delete accounts by request.
Thanks for answer in advance.
salam.
There are a couple of reasons...in the past when we have done banned users at their request we get barraged with "Why did you ban so and so?" and in some cases people were irate that we had banned their friends. There were a few instances of rediculous accusations and insults towards mods and admins as well.
As for deleting user accounts...if we did that then threads that they had contributed to would lose all context because if we delete the user account, their posts disapear too.
As for letting users delete their own posts, there have been abuses of that where users will insult someone and then delete their comments once their victim has seen them. Definately not cool.
What it boils down to is that users have to accept responsibility for their words. If you don't want someone to read what you have said then try to post responsibly.

That's not right. I've been on vBulletinn acounts and requested my account deleted, and afterwards, all the posts would remain. The only that changes is that the username becomes a guest name.

Only the posts of the original user, who deleted his account, becomes guest posts. Everything becomes the same, except there's no signature, avatar, and profile page. That's it. The name doesn't change to "guest", it simply becomes an unregistered post by the name of "username".

I know, and like I said we dont want it to become like that.
Do you not think we know how vbulletin works, we have had the forum for many years. And our policy is not to delete accounts. If you want to make an account, and have it deleted at your whim.. go sign up somewhere else because we do not do that.
