a) ‘I could not praise Muhammad-ur Rasullullaah with my words; rather, my words were made praiseworthy by Muhammad-ur Rasullullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).

b) My eyes have not seen more beautiful person than you; No women has given birth to a more beautiful person than you; You have been created without any weakness and blemish (mark); As if you have been created as you wished to be created.'

With due respects, I wish to know whether the Sahabi R.A. sang those couplets in the presence of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam or at his grave. Please provide supporting evidence for your statement.

Dear respected brother,

The Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) used to ask Hadhrat Hassaan bin Thaabit (Radi Allah Anho) to answer His (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) enemies on His behalf. Indeed, the Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) had a pulpit erected within the Masjid for him to stand upon and recite poetry deprecating the unbelievers and praising the Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam). (Mishkaat)

One of his most famous Qasaaid was the one I've mentioned above and you wanted evidence for. This was, indeed, read in front of the Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam). Please refer to Sharh-e-Diwaan Hassaan bin Thaabit.
