narrated ab-nu'man bin bashir ra i heard allahs messenger :saw: saying: both legal and illegal things are evident but in between them there are doubtful (unclear) things, and most of the people have no knowledge about them. so whosoever saves himself from these doubtful things , he saves his religion and his honour.

basically yh ther are illegal things in religion like alcohol which is evidently haraam and there are things like drinking water which is clearly halaal...but inbetween this halaal and haraam there are grey areas which are less clear...like the things we hear every day 'oh this chocolate / crsip is haraam...'

so if you refrain from these things then it is better as enshallah you risk less in your religion and honour..:)


may allah give us all the willingness and strength to do this..aamen :love:
