Assalam-u-alaikum,

I have booked my wedding day for August 2008, when I checked the calender it said that the 15th of Sha-ban was on the sunday 17th but when I checked it now, its on the wedding day, 16th AUgust,

Is it permissiable to get married on this day? I have booked the venue already as the dates available were severely limited where I am from in the UK.

Any ideas?

To make it worse, it is booked for the evening slot.

It is permissible, however, those that 'celebrate' the 15th may not attend the wedding.
