Salam ale kum bro/sis

am in need of help/advises there is a guy comin to see me for marriage but i dnt know him well but i wanted a guy who will be islamic not some one who is laid back what can i ask him to get to know how he thinks could some plz help me or advise me of what sud i ask plzzzzzz

i need a list of question plz.. i saw a couple of thread with gud questions on but i cant find them now:( so this is only chance to find out stuff about him by asking the rite questions big help plz

I think that it's better not to as him but to watch - because sometimes people can lie in order to get what they want. Or another variant is to ask somebody from his family and ask to give honest answers because it can influence all your life. As for me I would ask if he prays(salat), reads Qur'an, attends some religious meetings or something like that. I would ask about his behaviour with girls and women - if he is modest and behaves in a decent way. I would try to find out with what kind of people he communicates, who are his close friends etc. - the environment is very important. I would try to meet his mother and father - sometimes you can make a judgement about a person looking at his relationships with his family. In general, I'd try to learn everything not directly from him. If he is honest he'll tell the truth whatever it is, but who knows..

I'd first recommend to take a deep breath, then get a pen and write down what you want in a guy. A guy you'll spend the rest of your life with, so make sure to write down the long term things. I see you have one important requirement already, "Islamic". And remember, you don't have to say yes, other people will come, inshaAllah.
