in past couple weeks ive met a few northerners including ummah people as well :p and i cant understand what you guys are on about half the time.
Like one bro was saying something..."eeer ya alreeght, whuts with the lads rond eeer"... and im like :rubeyes::rubeyes::rubeyes: ermm "Bonjour:o"
like whats with the weirdo accent i didnt know you guys were THAT bad loool.

it just gives you travel on the tube (and bus i think) at a good price, theres 2 ways of usin it.. And i think theres certain zones its valid in, sori my bad memory.. Used it last summer

Yea no hatin they are interestin, this bloke was our free car tour guide in Braddi and he showed us everythin thats hap round there, he talked very eloquently i shall say and was well polite, not really a tour guide just my mates relative.. Not all Northerners have strong accents, some does be okay, depends on how patriotic they are :p

Judging from where i live, i think its extremely racist up north and i know alot of people feel that way, the Muslims are good tho of course they're gonna be hey
I find so called northerners as friendly as the southerners. Accents are varied and long may they be so.

I can't understand Bristish accent most of time, unless it's BBC news.
I went Wales in 94... sounded like a new language... not to offen u guys but British accent sound like Asian accent to me.

I love the way some of our weird Northern neighbours speak...although I did live "up norf" myself, for a little while so I have learned to decode their curious gibberish. Big up da Hebden Bridge Massive (Warning: Old person trying to do ghetto-speak. Approach with extreme caution.)
I would rather have a Yorkshire accent than a cockney accent any of the week....although I'm from Birmingham so, let's be honest, anything would be an improvement on that particular accent. :o

erm...she did say northish - let's put it this way, anything north of Cambridge, excluding Norfolk is considered the dodgy North. Until you get to The Lake District. That's southern country again. And let's just leave the Scots where they belong :D
