By perants. I Dont have kids and not thinking about them lol but just came to mind because i see so many people hitting there childen...so hard that they can't even breath =/
If they annoy you..or be naughty...Just pick somthing they fear and do it.. Just say some kids scared of a dark ..Just make them stand in a dark room.. when they do somthing you dont want them to...Next time...they'l know what will happend and wont do it.. Instead of killing them :rolleyes:

if you as a parent are consistent with your discipline from the start (and not giving in every 5 mins for an easy life-which most parents make the mistake of doing) then you will hardly have to resort to hitting/smacking the child just to get them to listen to you.

Some parents resort to hitting/beating from the start, becos thats how they were brought up and i think this is totally wrong. Smacking should be a last resort not the first one, all that will happen is the child will become immune to it and then what are u going to do once the smacking doesnt work?

Alhumdulillah at the moment the worst i have to do is get hold of him by the arm and then repeat myself and its all good but that is my last resort and i hope it stays like that inshallah...on a very rare occasion i have had to smack but it hasnt reached to a point that he has cried.

Umm...I'm pretty sure I won't hit my kid, but...I do get angry a lot =( Insha'Allah i won't do anything bad, but I know I will be strict.

at end of the day those parents were also kids too at 1 stage funi how they forget kids will be kids,kids should be told off from doing wrong in a stern way a way that will make them see the error of their ways not in the way thatl have em in tears.
