About the dangers of skating on thin ice/
Ever ready to gamble with my emotions when I roll the dice/
Staked my claim on a long shot bet, high hopes then I tripped and slipped/
Felt grounded like an angel with his wings clipped/
Experienced clear blue skies and sunshine, when I was soaring/
Then my thoughts became clouded and the rain came down pouring/
Although they say every cloud has a silver lining/
I still believe deep inside, it will always be for you that I'm pining/
For certain conditions of the heart cannot easily be washed away/
