now its:
You are 35% marriageable!
You're not going to be first choice for that cousin back home. If you like him, you need to improve your score. Perhaps you could boost your standing by learning to cook biryani, sewing your own wardrobe, and generating that essential air of subservience.
:p
its dumb cuz i cant marry any cousin back home.... :\

mine aint good to lol
You are 27% marriageable
That's pretty low. You need to work hard on your eligibility, young lady - become a doctor, start using Soft and Lovely, grow an extra few inches - you know what you gotta do. Or maybe you've been working hard to dissuade rishta Aunties from darkening your doorstep - in which case, you're doing well.:o

You are 16% marriageable!
You're pretty much bottom of the heap. You're probably old or otherwise irretrieveably flawed. Drastic action probably wouldn't be enough to avoid a life of spinsterhood. But at the end of the day, are you sure you wanted a desi mother-in law anyway?

You're doing pretty well. You might not be 'First Class Number One' but you have a pretty good chance of catching a handsome Asian lad in the next few years. If that sounds like your worst nightmare, try being rude to aunties on a regular basis - word will soon get around.
i' the most marriageable in this thead :p:p

Tut tut tut....:outta:
Chappati and Roti, I presume, are the same things. It's bread with vegetables or meat in it. I think I remember making it one time.

Tut tut indeed. :')
They are the same. And they don't have meat or vegetables inside, it's just plain bread! It's usually made round, or always I guess since I haven't really seen any other shape .

lol as stated roti and chapati are the same thing. you are thinking of paratha which can have meat and/or veg inside :D Same dough as roti but you add ghee to it and 'fry' it - and obviously you can add fillings
Whats desi?????????/

 Gucci, this one for u
Chappati = Roti
= disc shaped Indian subcontinental bread made up of wheat flour.
Paratha
= Can be round / triangle made with Butter / Oil and are thick and soft
This can have vegetables like potato or cabbage stuffed inside.
Naan
= Made up of gluten, yeast, yogurt to give softness
and baked in special ovens back home.
And I have learnt Roti / paratha before my marriage.
My would be can order a Naan from restaurant if he wants..... ;)

What does desi mean? :embar:
Love&Peace
12-02-08, 08:35 AM
Desh means country in Urdu/Hindi (mostly Bangla as well).
Desh is also used to specify Native place.
So when Indians or Pakistani refers to their country, they call it as Desh/Des
and Desi is adjective of Desh/Des.
Sometimes Desi also refers to conventional things.
