Firstly, please don't take my comment in an extremist way, I am not an extremist. However, I take issue to having sisters being moderators on this forum. The sisters in some cases are being put above us brothers for example as moderators. This is a clear reversing of roles. In Islam we have clearly defined rules and roles for sisters and brothers. And I don't like the way, this is becoming vague on this forum. The sisters need to be stripped of the moderator positions and brothers should be placed in their position.
Plus I also have issue with some icons here, such as these emotions:
;):inlove::torture::):D:rolleyes::up:
now if you notice, these icons are smiling or showing emotional feeling... And in some cases brothers are using these icons when responding to sisters, this could sent the wrong message. And is one of the reasons I don't let my wife and sisters post on this forum.
Hmmmmm..Interesting. Brother moderators cant moderate the sisters private forum and sisters likewise cant moderate the brothers private forum unless you have no problem with brothers snooping around in the private business of women and sisters doing the same. Having female moderators doesnt put them above the brothers, thats a load of codswollop. As regards the emotions, each to their own.

Jazkallah Khair for your concern but your post has no merit islamically..the hadith talks about woman being Rulers if that's what your refering to and this is not the case within a forum.

I think you need to go re study the rights of women in Islam and refresh your Islamic history, coz u seem to have got it all muddled and maybe been watching too much anti islamic propaganda and begun to believe it, Allahu alam.

your a bit out of touch with what Islam says about women akhi, and you are confusing the issue of women being judges, amirs or imams.
‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab said to the Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him “We Quraysh used to control our women, but when we came to the Ansaar we found that they were a people who were controlled by their women. So our women started to adopt the ways of the Ansaari women. I got angry with my wife and she argued with me and I did not like her arguing with me. She said, ‘Why do you object to me arguing with you? By Allah, the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) argue with him…’ ”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4895; Muslim, 1479.
Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar said in discussing the lessons to be learned from this hadeeth
" This shows that being harsh with women is something unaceptable, because the Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him adopted the way of the Ansaar with women forsaking the way of his people."
