ABCD is a quadrilateral and a line through A parallel to BC meets DC at X. If angle D = angle C, prove that triangle ADX is isosceles

quadrlateral is any shape with 4 sides including paralellogram, trapezium etc.

i worked it out :D

angle c = angle x, as the lines are parallel and angle c= angle x = angle d

thus as angle D = angle X, therefore AX=AD
thus the triangle is isoseles
