Hi can anyone help me how do you muti quote a single post? Say for example someone has made numerouse points in a single post how would you go about disecting it onto manageable sections and respond individually below each quote.

I have seen this being done in responses but cant suss out how its done

Eh.... I usually click 'quote', respond, copy paste the whole thing, then click the 'back' button, then click 'quote' in another post, respond, and click the 'post reply' button (or repeat second step). But, I'm sure there's an easier way?

lets say :

for a topic some one has responded with Reply-1, another one has responded with Reply-2.

in your case you are trying to multi quote Reply-1 and Reply-2. Hope that might be your question.

so you have to do like this,

1. Press Multi Quote This Message button next to Quote button for Reply-1
(when you finished doing it said buttons background color will change to something like minus sign with reddish color)

2. Press the Quote button for Reply-2.

that is all you have to do it.

I think the bro is asking how to quote a SINGLE post multiple times so that he may answer the SINGLE post line-by-line.

I'm not very good at doing it(I do it manually), so I'll wait for someone to answer.

AssalamuAlaykum,

yup, what you do is quote the FULL post...then delete the quote tags from around it...then take the first part you'd like to reply to and wrap quote tags around that part...dissect the rest and do the same...

By quote tags I mean [QUOTE ] insert the part you'd like to quote here [/QUOTE ] you'd have to close those tags obviously because I havent for sake of showing you. hope that makes sense.

WassalamuAlaykum
