find x if f(x) = 1
f:x -> 1-2x
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^
how do i solve that kind of functions again

brother just my suggestion coz i have done it long time ago.
did you tried solving it using g0f and f0g functions?
g0f=g(f(x))
f0g=f(g(x))

hmm
i think i know how to do it now:
f(5) f:x-> 1-2x
therefore f:x -> 1-2(5) = -9
