What to study or what not to study

I'd be interested to know what would be your ideal subject to study in and why or what subjects to avoid at all costs.

My favorite ones are history, chemistry, geography and some others, the ones that I really dislike are music and arts.

Study Arabic, so you can understand the Words of Allah as He revealed them, so you can better your Deen, and so you can help other Muslims do so.
