The Poem:
No Laughter in Hell
This world is nothing but a life of disguise,
This world has too much to despise.
Yet we hold onto it as tightly as a frightful child and it’s teddy bear,
We forget it’s only Allah about which we should care.
This world is full of those many desires,
Things that will certainly lead us to hell fire.
This duniya is nothing but a game,
And its about time we became sane.
What happened to our Ummah?
What happened to our pride?
What happened to our confident stride?
Why do we Muslims suddenly try to hide?
It’s time to see the beauty of our Deen,
Its about time the truth be seen.
Let go of this world, and focus on the hereafter,
For surely, in hell there will be no laughter.
