need to buy a gift - Islamic Art

I'm on a budget (£25 max) - it's for a colleague - training art teacher - who has a love for achitecture (I'm thinking Alhambra - Arab Spain architecture) - so wana buy her an Islamic art print....

any clues as to where I can get something on my budget? :scratch:

yeh it is - the one I liked on Tagucci arts is a whopping £290 but masha'Allaah looks amazing

Maybe I got expensive taste for saying canvas afterall they aren't cheap.... hmmmmm will look around

yeh canvas is expensive, i dont think u can get one for £25 :S


might have tto get one of those prints on paper/card...but they dont look as good.

yeh art teachers don't like card - they like texture and colour and handmade as opposed to mass produced :p

will look around though for something else

hmm..how abt a nice sculture type thing they have in islamic shops? u get some that are really cool and unique masha'Allah

I think I'ma get her a Gem book (siratt does really nice special books which might be an idea) insha'Allaah and stick some art and a beautiful hadith inside insha'Allaah :up:

I like the idea of a sculpture of some sort too - will have a look around insha'Allaah - how do i say it she's very arty farty (or maybe so am I :scratch:) so wana put some thought into it and give dawah as well :insha:
