HAVE YOU SPOKEN TO YOURE PARENTS:)

sometimes it seems as a youth that parents are boring old people who just shout out orders and tell you what to do all the time,
it seems that all they care about is work...the OTHER children only..or about anything but you..



how could they possibly know what im going through..they were never young right:D

if im in love with someone..can i approach my mum?..surely she was never a teen and in love too?,she doesnt know how teen boys and girls feel .right

i cant approach my dad because he,s always been a boring old dad
surely he was never a teenage rebel,hitting on ladies,out with friends,or got into fights and stayed out late etc

remember it is possible and probable that everything you are going through and then some has been experiences by youre parents..

IM 40.i have a teen son..i think the time is ripe now for me to talk to him about my..teen angst/infatuations/bunking off school..is it still called that:D..minor erm..offences..fights..dating:embar:..running away..gym stories and achievements :hidban:..and erm more!!

anyhow ..enough about me:zzz:

yeh talk to your parents but I think there should be some shame. I dont understand how people can talk to their parents about the gyal/guy they love or how they down cos they got dumped etc. Thats shameless innit?

ive found that eventually the parents always find out and are the one ultimately affected by their childrens actions or none actions.
whether its bullying,dating,insecurity or whatever the parents ultimately carry the can and have to deal with the consequences of their childrens experiences.

and like i said parents ..by the very nature of the relationship,have a natural propensity to care and protect

^^ yep ur right ur parents always find out they bought u up all these years they will kno when thier is summat up with u.
i do talk to my mum not wen my dad was alive (may Allah grant him a place in jannat) may be because he was more strict on us and we was on a different level with my dad n my mum had more a relaxed view abt things.. but the best people to talk to are ur parents cos they will never tell u to do something or say something wrong..they are thier for u in ur good days n bad.
