Love of Prophet (SAWS)

Upon an occasion, the Prophet :saw: requested that Thawban (RA) to come to his company. And they said, “O’ Messenger of Allah, Thawban is ill, he is so ill that he can’t even walk!” The Prophet :saw: made his own way to visit Thawban (RA) and when he reached Thawban (RA), he was lying there and couldn’t get off his bed and the Prophet :saw: asked, “What is wrong Thawban?” Thawban (RA) answered, “O’ Messenger of Allah, wAllahi the only sickness that I have is that I was thinking that when I die, I may go into Jahannam and you will be in Jannah and I will never see you again!”

When Bilal (RA) was on his death bed, his wife began to say, “Wa Huzna! Wa Huzna!” “” What grief, what anguish!” And Bilal (RA) said, “No, not Wa Huzna, Wa Farha Ghadan Sa’alka Muhammad Habibi!” “Tomorrow, I’ll meet my beloved Prophet :saw:!”

In the Battle of Yarmuk, ‘Ikrimah bin Abu Jahl (RA) took an oath that he would go into the battlefields and not return. And whilst he was walking to the enemy line, he turned to Abu ‘Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah (RA) and said, “O’ ‘Ubaydah, I am soon to meet the Prophet :saw:, do you have any message for the Prophet :saw:?” And Abu ‘Ubaydah (RA) said, “Convey my Salams and tell him we have found the promise of our Lord to be the truth!”
