she either didnt leave it in long enough, or there was too many sheets on top of one another so the moisture couldnt get to all of them, or the tomatoe meat sauce wasnt watery enough to allow them to cook properly, you can buy fresh lasagne sheets which shouldnt go hard ever and cook quicker too.

Soak them in acetic acid beforehand. Guaranteed to keep them soft.

oh yes, I'm being honest, it might also make the lasagne taste a little more interesting...or lively.

don't do it...

Maybe the oven is set to high..let it cook on a slower heat for longer...and in the middle of the oven, not at the top
or add more white sauce :)

I just had some lasgne, brought it yesterday fresh from the restaurant and put it in the fridge then.

Had it today, after microwaving it for 2 min. Tasted perfect....

Basically... dont use the oven.

lol, i was kidding, acetic acid is basically vinegar, I was hoping you'd try it, then we'll know what happens, my mum will never let me...

sis, it is most likey the lasagna did not have enough liquid when she cooked it. Just a quick question, did she boil the lasagna noodles first? If not, then the lasagna sauce has to have a little more watery so as to cook the noodles well.

Not enough sauce?
