Read in a Jamie oliver sainsburys Stylie or M&S food ad stylie

take out from the freezer any leftover Shami kebabs, pakoras, tandoori chicken etc from Eid /special dinners then buy a baton at the local super market some lettuce,cucumbers,radishes,spring onion,red cabbage,cherry tomatoes loads of mayo and you get the perfect............... Ayshian Sandvich like only your Ummy G can make

depens on you. I don't like too much olive oil so I just go for some drops. Just to have the taste but not tasting the olive oil. know what I mean?

1) Subway's Veggie Patty

Veggie Patty
Swiss Cheese
Lettuce / Onions / Tomatoes
Sweet Peppers
Sometimes olives - just a little
Salt and Pepper
Top it off with Southwest Sauce and Vinegar.
Wheat or plain bread.
TOASTED.


2) Lambo's Tuna Supreme

Tuna - it has to be solid white albacore - none of the chunk light pink stuff
Mayonaisse - put a little more than extra because I don't put any on the bread.
Salt and Pepper
A dash of garlic powder and red chili flakes
Mix it up - but don't turn mixture into mush.
Put it on bread, any kind.
OPTIONAL. I do this sometimes. I put some lettuce leaves and tomatoes on top with a sprinkle of Italian dressing.


3) Chicken Kebab sandwich

My mom makes those chicken kebabs, the round/oval and flat ones.(I think they are called chapli kebabs - not sure).

You need a burger bun.
Put half slice of cheese on lower portion of bun.
Put kebab on top.
Ketchup.
Lettuce.
Roasted Peppers!
NO TOMATOES, don't get me wrong. I love tomatoes.
Top portion of Bun. Salt pepper optional.

one of my favorites ... I believe I mentioned that on "My Awesome Sandwich" thread ...

OK people... trust me on this...copy and save...recipe for "North Shore Tip Sammich"

2 lbs. sirloin tips

1 cup BBQ sauce

1 cup Italian Dressing

1 cup Coca Cola

1 tsp each of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder

2 shakes Tabasco sauce

Mix ingredients...marinate meat for 1-2 days ( the Coca Cola is an excellent tenderizer)

Drain. Pat meat with paper towels.

Grill meat until medium/medium rare.

Serve in crusty rolls (Portuguese, Italian...)

Large cut fries with malt vinegar and seasalt is an excellent side...

Cold beverage of your choice.
