Is it possible to download Micrsoft word from anywhere? My laptop has open office but its really crap and when i email documents over, others can't open them cos the format is incorrect or something?:rubeyes:

that is because you need to save them as microsoft word documents, you are probably saving them as open office documents.
yes you probably can download microsoft word from the internet, but it would be illegal.

Torrent sites and some websites have copies of Mircosoft office 2003 and 2007 easy to get. But you need to burn it to CD, and then install , and make sure your downloading a reliable working version, free from key and serial generating problems.

I would just try and find a bootleg DVD instead of downloading, if you gonna go illegal that is.
I wouldn't risk downloading a virus.

Avoid virus by going to membership and invite only - sites is one way.

ditch word completely and use an alternative freeware word processing software with absolutley no compatibility issues and fear of being not being to have updates. google do it

I think it would be better to order a DVD as opposed to downloading it...that way you're not tied down to one computer.

got the serial code - couldn't download cos my net died when the phone rang :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: (my net is annoying!)

stick with openoffice and just save as microsoft.doc
you do know that it stores the download?
so if you have the install file and then download back to that place it carries on from your previous download.
also what connection you on?
