No sound

i don't know what i've done to the sound on my PC but...it don't work!

2b more specific, when i realised it wasn't working i went to adjust system volume in control panel and it said 'no audio device' :confused:

what does that mean? I'm hoping someone can tell me, because i neeeed the sound. please help

Have you installed all your audio drivers, and then restarted the system.

When you buy your computer, it probably didnt have any drivers already installed, or if you brought it in parts, you have to install the drivers that can be found on a CD or Diskette to make various things function. Audio drivers are one of them.

But if your sound was working before, and its not working now, then it Prob. be some other problem that someone-else probably can help.

I do remember installing the sound with this CD. Other than that i have no clue about all this technical stuff. May have to get it checked.

Have you checked if it's not on mute.

start, programs, accessories, entertainment, volume control. check if the volume control option is not on mute.
