Do you have Excel? Get your data - go to Tools - Add Chart or something like that...you'll get an option to make a pie chart somewhere in there.
Hope that helps until somebody can give you exact directions...

Okay I found the Charts Section :hidban:
But how on earth do I convert my data into pie chart form? Where do I write my data :o I know its basic, but I don't understand computers!

hmm, just hit help and type in pie chart - it'll give you all the details.
I'd help a little more but I removed Excel (and the rest of Office) from my computer...trying to kick the habit

the data goes in the spreadsheet - in the cells that you see when you open a new worksheet in Excel.

Okay I did a survey asking people many questions. When I do an example pie chart to test it out, not all the questions appear in the chart ...Only a pie chart for the first question!

My data consists of loads of questions and answers. But I just figured it out, I'm gonna need a pie chart per question right? :smack:

How is it useful to have a pie chart for questions and answers?! If they are yes or no questions then you can draw a chart for the 'questions' and the 'answers' which is yes or no!

They are not 'yes' or 'no' questions. They are a series of questions to do with native languages and all the possible options for answers more or less differ to the previous one. It is an eyesore to look at all these results in words. Furthermore, it is also an eyesore to look at many pie charts or bar graphs. But I'm thinking logically now  its kinda impossible to merge them together right? Someone please say wrong!
All I really need to know is that is it possible: pie chart, bar graph or any other way, to have loads of questions in it - if the answer options are the same, represented in one chart/graph? Does that make any sense? Cos I'm writing the questions out on excel, but they are not present in the chart...pppphhhhooooo

How far would you agree that English is the language of the oppressor?
Strongly agree, Fairly agree, Neither agree nor disagree, Fairly disagree, Strongly disagree
How far would you agree that the English language is able to unite Kenyans despite tribal differences?
Strongly agree, Fairly agree, Neither agree nor disagree, Fairly disagree, Strongly disagree, Don’t know
Those are the options to the answers. So I've got the answer in a percentage form.

I'd say you were on the right track with one pie per question.
Stacked bars might work also, but would be confusing I think since the options weren't exactly the same for each question.

How about this? I tried to draw a chart for the 2 questions. Try to download the file, please.

Hey thanks for that Saudi Prince. But that still means I'm going to have to make those bar graphs for each question and I have about 14 and I don't think my lecturer would want to see so many. So I've just figured a way of doing it in a table. It doesn't look professional at all but it should do.
Thank-you for taking the time out to do it though, plus I now know how to do one of those. JazakAllahu Khair

I have tried to put the 14 questions in 1 chart only. If the chart is cleae enough for you then you can change the data to 'your actual data' and then it will change in the graph automatically.
