Link conversion help !

I have seen a few sites before where you can get a link converted into a word.

eg: www.ummah.com/forum

into some thing like

visit us !

* So when some 1 click on 'Visit us' it takes you direct to the Ummah site.

K u get the picture.

Please show me the way ?:o

Or

Show me the code pattern.

in the task bar of this box when your responding to people there is a icon with the world below the smiley icon - you will need to highlight the text and add your link into the box

when you post a message, there's a small symbol of a globe with what looks like a paperclip in front......click that and enter the url and click ok, it will then display the link twice in the box, delete the highlighted section and replace with anything you want.

I am using a basic editor.

so what is teh code like if any 1 knows?

brother you have to do like this : when you are posting a URL you have to write it like this :

"Visit Us (http://www.ummah.com)"

Click here (http://www.ummah.com/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions). And scroll down where it says Message Editor Interface. Select Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing. Then save changes. Now, when you're making posts you're page will look like this..

When you want to give a word a link, just highlight that word, then select the icon with the Globe and paperclip (like you see in the picture below) and paste the URL then press okay.

If you want to remove any hyperlinking, just select the word and press the icon next to the globe, that crosses out the paperclip.
