Laptop/PC to Plasma connectivity?

I want to connect my laptop to my plasma and watch stuff on the big screen, possible?

Definitely possible, I do it all the time.

In my case, I use a DVI to HDMI cable. You could probably also use a VGA cable if your laptop doesn't have DVI.

DVI is definitely cleaner (all digital)

u have several options.

the first of which is simply using the tv out (s-video) on ur laptop or graphics card and connect it to the t.v . this is the worst quality and i only recommend it for watching movies.

if ur laptop has a monitor output port (which is 100% likely), all pc's have it, then u can get a s/vga to dvi/hdmi cable and connect it like that.

if ur laptop or graphics card has a DVI port, then get a dvi to dvi or dvi to hdmi whichever port ur plasma tv has.

once u connect it, just simply go to ati's catalyst control center, or nvidia's control center and enable t.v out.

looks like a plain old vga on ur laptop, and a DVI on ur plasma TV.

Male to Female cable is just going to result in another cable. Easiest thing here in my opinion is to get a DVI to VGA connecter and a normal VGA cable (male to male).
