What is this ed2k? anyone use it? i have managed to find a documentary i have been after for sooooooo long, even bought it off the net but was refunded for it when the company said they dont have rights to distribute it in the UK anymore blurgh blurgh. I managed to find a link for it but its for this ed2k thingy majigy.

ed2k is short for eDonkey2000. it was a different kind of p2p application, and it rivaled that of KaZaA/Morpheus. It was quite popular before the arrival of bitTorrent and some people still like to use it.

I don't think they still make eDonkey2000, but i know there's a fork of it called eMule. You can try that.
