It was basically easier to organise, and theres not much that bros do at bazaars, its more of a sister thing im guessing.

mashaAllah there are many sisters who have their own money, and if bros wanna give, they can give to tehir wives, sisters etc :)

Time:
2.30pm - 5.30pm

On sale:
from jewelry to hijabs, islamic art to books, hair cutting to mehndi,
kids activities to lots of food and drinks...and much more.

If anybody would like to donate any home made cakes, snacks/sweets or any drinks, or if you would like to hold a stall at the event please get in touch.

All proceeds will go to charity through Muslim Aid inshaAllah.

sisters only events means that we can have things like hair cutting, and so on. also it's better than it being mixed! besisdes brothers dnt like shopping anyway!

p.s. we dnt all need husbands money orchards. i get my money from my employer!

Just a quick reminder to all sisters that the charity bazaar to raise money for the Bangladesh Disaster is this Saturday (5th January).

Please do try your best to come, remember it is for charity, to help the victims of the Cylone disaster that hit Bangladesh a few months ago. The survivors have lost almost everything they had, they'r homes, livlihood and even they're loved ones. Please remember them in your dua's and try to help with your wealth. InshaAllah the charity we give for the sake of Allah may be used as a shield to protect us from the Hell-fire, ameen.

"Spend (in charity) out of the sustenance that We (Allah) have bestowed upon you before that time when death will come to someone, and he shall say 'O my Lord! If only you would grant me reprieve for a little while then I would give in charity, and be among the righteous'".
Surah al-Munafiqoon (63) : verse 10

i just spent the last four hours baking truckloads of cakes as soon as i got home from work... i hope all you gals come and buy them... i so tired now.

Alhamdulillah it went well, started bit rough with timing but mashaAllah went good

Want to say JazakAllah khayr to all the people that helped, nothing was too small, every little helps :) im not gonna thank everyone individually here cos it will take a lot of space, but Allah knows who you you are and everyones reward is with Him (subhanahu wa Ta'ala)

Will give update on how much was raised, still some more to count inshaAllah, so watch this space :)

yeah alhamdulillah it was a good turn out. i hope a lot of money was raised and may allah reward u for all the effort u went to for organising this fundraiser.
it was great to see so many old faces too masha'allah.. great to catch up with them!
