As Salaamu Alaikum,

I can't find that thread about re-arranging the forums etc. But I was thinking maybe a forum called ‘Sunnah’ could be made. For promoting the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw), i.e. practical actions we all could incorporate into our own personal lives. This could include but not limited to dress code, fasting Modays/Thursdays, optional Salaah’s, Dhikr etc. etc. Just a suggestion.

Jazaak Allaahu Khair.

The problem with having Sunnah/Qur'aan/Fiqh forums etc, in my opinion, is that they will inevitably overlap each other. I think it's better to have less forums, especially duplicate topics.

I was thinking the idea would be to encourage each other to hold onto the Sunnah. And in this day and age where the Sunnah is always being attacked, even by fellow Muslims, it would be a nice support/reference for us to apply into our own lives.

Ultimately the Admins/Mods will have to find the correct balance with the structure of the forums and all. But I think this would be a valuable asset to the forums.

Just my thoughts.

no thats like i said gna be split into two...

cr for the non muslim discussion

other one for the sect type things

al_islam

ye i see ur point, but even with sect things, the other sects disagree...there is not mutual overlap between them.

Therefore to simplify sunnah views, its better to keep everything mutually exclusive

capiche ??

no because they can have more than one thread in a section

like in general its not just one view for the whole area, dif threads, dif discussion init

but threads go to the back after a while.

sections remain there and are easier to find

in discussions u will find that a lot of stuff is regurgitated. thrown up agen and agen....if threads keep going to the end, and no one bothers to find them then it get monotonous to keep sayin the same things again and again.

therefore it is better to have separate sub forums and so the debate is much more focused and threads are not as confusing.

having sed that, this site is poorly planned anyways....so i dont expect u to understand.....bt eventually u will realise.

But with an attitude like that, I'm afraid only a few will take you seriously.

I just speak my mind....if you dont like it I suggest you lump it :)

Only wanted to spread some worthwile knowledge (as set out by the Quran and Sunnah - you cant not take that seriously despite ur image of me). Once i have done that I shall get back into the real world and leave all these virtual warriors behind.

Im not dubbing down.

I still dont see your point, about how I type words. It shouldnt matter. People should be intelligent enough to get the message, no matter how it is put. If we dont accept this, we run the risk of living our lives in Jahilyyah.

Its not how I say things, its what I say that should be assessed. Otherwise, you arent very bright are you

I don’t want to give you a lecture, but cut the personal jibes, and low blows. Otherwise you post some very strong and valid points. Anyways it's not my place to correct anyone in this regard, because I am the worst.

Walaikumasalaam,

i think this is an excellent idea brother, its very important its mentioned on forums - doesnt matter if other forums have it either. Alot of people are belittling the sunnah its our job to strive to revive it back!

Go for it insha'Allaah

If you dont have anything good to say, i suggest you stay quiet - it would be better for you - just remember everything you say - you're gonna be accountable for it - bare that in mind.
