Insha’Allah see you on Tuesday at 10am!
The initial idea is to have a meeting place, where we can all meet and socialise and strengthen our community bonds. There are many sisters who simply wish to make new friends to share like minded interests. The primary goal of the initiative will be that of a regular meeting place for us the Muslim women of Harrow and surrounding localities of North West London.
Some ideas of this initiative are sketched out below, but if any sisters have other ideas on improving or adding to the list below, then please do put your ideas forward in the meeting. So we can have the most beneficial time for all who will insha'Allah attend our group.
1. Having a gathering of young Muslim children aged between 0-4yrs (toddler ages) with mothers who can get together in order for them to:
a. Socialise, Co-operate, Play.
b. Have activities
c. Teach them Islamic etiquettes and so on.
d. Exercise/physical, do sports to keep fit and active.
2. It would be like a nursery/playschool/play area, but with mothers and generally women also benefiting in the social environment afforded by being together, with other mothers and children.
3. It would also give them a chance to know that they do have a Muslim community within the area.
4. It will give a chance to work with the parents, meet and get involved.
