salaam

can someone explain me,

spitting on the ground, is it a bad habbit?

there is been told, spitting on the ground is like if you don't show respect for earth, earth of Allah.. .

how do they come to this conclusion?

I mean, I hear you have to be good for earth, but where is it said that spitting is bad for earth, maybe it is good??

does someone has a soenna, or something which explain why or why not it is allowed

if you have to spit, spit, but spit on your left side and step on it

as a matter of common sense, do it in a discreet manner

Abdul Hakeem, another yukky avatar!

Regarding spitting i was taught to be discreet if you have to do it, and to the side, preferably in a bin or tissue. I think this is just good manners and don't have any evidence. Hmmm, i don't ever need to so haven't had to look it up. :p

eww, you shouldn't spit at all while praying. I think spitting on the ground is not good manners, it's plain gross.
