I have a fetish problem

I'm looking into Islam, but I'm worried it's for the wrong reasons. I believe in God and all I agree with alot that Islam teaches. But something else that helped attract me to Islam is a sexual fetish. I know masturbation is not allowed in Islam, but I tell myself that its okay because this fetish is helping me towards Islam so therefore it's allowable.

Conversion to Islam wouldn't be solely because of this fetish, but I feel it's one of the reasons. Is this bad and what can I do about it?

How would a sexual fetish attract you towards our deen? If it did, then look into yourself again. Islam is the only salvation for humanity. But you have to consider the spiritual aspects of that salvation.
