Salaam everyone. I was wondering if you could help me with an issue I'm having. I work in the media and I've been working part time at a station for a little over a year. Only problem, I don't feel like I'd ever advance in the company. I've been trained on some shifts yet I never get extra shifts. Other people who just joined get shifts before me. I basically feel like I'm a rut. I'm not really happy at the place and would love to quit. I did a pro and con list and in my heart I want to quit and know it would be best for me. Only problem, it's the media and it's kind of hard to get into it here. If I leave them then I'm not going to be guarenteed another job in the media and it might take months before I find another job in it.There is a place where I live that I would love to work, but you need french and my french is tres mal.

At this point I don't know what to do.

I was kind of thinking that, but it's hard when I just don't have any passion for the job anymore.

try woking on your french as a priority, that will take your mind of the "shall i quit or not" thought and that will give u enough time to look around for better opportunities.

arghhh.... im trying to learn. u hav to watch french channels on tv... apparently thats the easiest way to learn. im not quitting my job cuz its hard to find a better one if u dont know french
