Besm Allah Arhaman Arraheem

Praise be to Allah who guided us to this and if it was not for him we wouldn’t have been guided “They said: Glory to thee: of knowledge We have none, save what it is thou who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom.” “of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men)” we invoke to you Allah to grant us useful knowledge and allow us to benefit of what you taught us. Prayer and peace be upon His illiterate Messenger Mohamed Ibn Abudllah.

Brothers and sisters, yes the war is on, but I’m calling this the awakening war. Alhamdulelah I developed a habit with Allah’s blessing to look at everything in a way to bring the good side of it. Didn’t Allah say in His noble book “but it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. but God knoweth, and ye know not.” (Quran 2: 216). I always look and try to search for the required duty Allah wants us to undertake in each given situation. Now someone may ask what is good in an eruption of a war. I do share of course the agony with every Muslim, but let us for example take a step by a step investigation. First of all Insh a Allah people who are destined to die we supplicate to Allah that He grants them a martyrdom rank, I don’t think this could be evil by any means. Muslims around the globe are starting to wake up and look around them. Brothers and sisters, it is a good chance for each one of us to look into him/herself and study the flaws in order to try and correct them. It is also a bell from Allah for us to renew our commitment to Him. Don’t you remember at the time of Omar Ibn Alkhattab, they suffered a serious drought, which caused massive losses everywhere. He tried every possible option to solve the problem but in vain. At a time when he was sitting in the mosque supplicating to Allah Kaab Ibn Obiy came to him suggesting to call on Al Abass, the Prophet’s (PAPBUH) uncle and ask him to gather the people and supplicate to Allah. Of course Al Abass responded to the request and escorted Omar to the mosque, you know how did he start supplicating to Allah? (He said Oh Allah you have clouds and water, so please spread the clouds and send us from it water, Oh Allah You never send down mischief except due to a sin. And You never released it except after repentance, so we are looking upon You to release this mischief.)

Can you derive what I want to stress here. No mischief is sent down on people except due to their sins. It is clearly indicated in the Quran “Whatever misfortune happens to you, is because of the things your hands have wrought, and for many (of them) He grants forgiveness.”(Quran 42:30). Brothers and sisters, it is absolutely apparent. We should all accelerate for repentance; we don’t need to supplicate for the destruction of the US. Had we have been in a good state of faith; Allah would never have sent them down on us. We should always examine our deeds first when we encounter tyranny. It is in us. Victory is never granted except after we work for it with ourselves Allah is Clear about this saying:” Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause).” (Quran 22:40) [Actually the help word in Arabic is literally written Allah shall grant victory to those who supports his cause]. Look at the Muslims why they were defeated in the battle of Auhd, they violated the commander’s (Prophet Mohamed PAPBUH) orders. They could not wait to take the gains. Actually, Allah explained it in the Quran saying “until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after he brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. among you are some that hanker after this world and some that desire the hereafter,” (Quran 3: 152). Usually I never like to spread a negative viewpoint because our beloved Prophet (PAPBUH) said what means that good shall remain in my nation. But We don’t want to be among those who “Those who rest not their hope on their meeting with us but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present, and those who heed not our signs,” (Quran 10: 7). Or those who say:” But of mankind there are some who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Your Bounties) in this world!" and for such there will be no portion in the Hereafter.” (Quran 2:200). As in these days, when you ask someone, what is your goal, he /she would answer develop in my career, receive under or post graduate studies, acquire a senior position, grow my business, change my house or even purchase a beach house and a long of list of other worldly desires. Rarely, you will find someone who would tell you I need to get rid of such sin, or develop better knowledge about religion, develop the habit of praying Fajr on time, memorize the Quran and other good deeds. I don’t say that such examples of people don’t exist, they do but few. Brothers and sisters, the Dunia (this world) has taken much of us. Let us all go back to the purpose of our creation. I suggest to myself and you to set annual objectives. Each one of us exactly knows where does he /she falters. Let us treat the flaws with repentance and a sincere desire to accomplish a better level of performance.

Another very important aspect in what is happening around is that whatever our beloved Prophet (PAPBUH) said must come true since “Nor does he speak of (his own) desire. * It is only a Revelation revealed.” (Quran 53:3-4). In a hadeeth narrated by Abi Moussa, he said that the Prophet (PAPBUH) said when the hour is drawing near, there will be days when knowledge shall be taken away, ignorance shall descend, and level of Haraj (killing) shall grow” (reported by Bukhari). He also said “Under the authority of Thawban, that the Messenger of Allah (PAPBUH) said It is coming very close when nations shall call each other to stand in unity against you in a way similar when a group of people strike on a food container to eat, so someone asked is it due to our small number at that time, he said no on the contrary you shall be many on that day yet similar to waste carried by flood (in reference to their cowardice status). At that time, Allah shall take off your enemy’s heart the fear from you, while Allah shall throw into your hearts Wahan. They inquired Oh Messenger of Allah and what is Wahan. He answered the love of Dunia (this world) and hate of death” (reported by Abi Daoud). I don’t think I need to add on this last hadeeth in particular it explains the whole situation. However, the issue in not only explaining the current situation, but also proving that he is certainly the Messenger of Allah (prayer and peace be upon him). Actually, that is what is happening, we fear US more than Allah. Why do we supplicate against US? We must focus on how to repent, improve, work towards Allah and be closer so that we may qualify for His granted victory. Brothers and sisters may Allah allow us to be among those who repent and not among those of hard hearts, may He not send on us those who do not fear Him or have mercy on us, may He save us from the Zalimun (unjust), may He also take this test off the whole Islamic nation. My brothers and sisters I advise everyone to perform supplication of Qunut (supplication said during Fajr and witr prayer on the last raka`a after elevation from ruku and before sujud). Prophet Mohamed (PAPBUH) did that on each Fard prayer during calamities (Mulitmat).

Alhamdulelah who guided us for this and if it was not for Him we would have never been guided. If I was correct it is from Him and if I faulted it is from myself may He forgive and overlook our mistakes. Ameen

Jazakum Allah khairan brother AbuMubarak
I tried to edit the message, but a 32 minute was over.
So I thought of adding what I waned here.
In case Insh a Allah we strive to accomplish a better level of faith this is what is waiting for us:
"Allâh has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islâm). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fâsiqűn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh)." (Surat Annour 55)
