I have a problem, actually it's a major problem!! I woke up this moring n i realised dat i hve lost my gold chain!!! This chain is very special 2 me!! i hve looked everywhere in da hse bt i cnt find it at all!! i had it on last nite so i knw its in da hse sumwhere bt i cnt seem 2 find it!! :confused:Ive been looking for it all day, n wen my mum finds out shes gna kill me :torture:

I was wondering if anyone knows any specail duas dat u cn recite wen uve lost something, in order to find out??

It is also said that it is the experience of some people that reciting Surah Luqmaan ayah 16 has the benefit of returning lost things

do sabar sister...dont worry every thing will be fine................once i had lost my gold chain and pendent...my father bought 4 me ...it just stay with me 4 days and then i lost it in AL AIN.....when i was visiting JABAL HAFIDH with my other family............i just put that in my hand bag..and when i came home it just vanished.....i know that it just fall away from my handbag...so i was very worry and very confuse that wat should i do.....then i told my mother and father...they were not angry but my father said i will not buy 4 u again...he just said that to make me feel :D..

before that my elder sister gave my gold chain and locket to her friend which my father bought 4 me when i put the whol ramadan fast when i was 10........
and then i told my father .....he told my sister that u will be asked on the day of judgement about this..so better u should buy 4 her another 1...

so i think u should be patience and look 4 it.....and dont worry or confuse its just a gold

Well alhamdulillah at least you know it is in the house rather than losing it in the street then you have no chance of finding it. insha allah make dua and ask Allah to allow you to find it, even if you do it in english in your own words, just make it sincerely insha Allah its okay. And try to be patient and don't panic, sometimes after some time you will just find it once you stop looking.
And if you don't find it then insha Allah try to take the benefit from it, because when you lose expensive stuff sometimes it reminds you not to attach too much importance on these material possessions, and that everything you have is from Allah, if he wills he can take it away. So try to accept already that you might not find it and possibly you won't see it again... i'm not saying that like to be mean but if that is the case then try not to feel upset about it, like if you can feel calm in your heart that it was something dear to you and you lost it, and it doesn't matter.. that is from sabr and there will be reward in it insha Allah. And if your mum is gonna be upset insha Allah don't tell her, if possible to avoid that because their is no need for her to upset unnecessarily.
But still... it is in your house somewhere so your chance is not totally lost to get it back, may Allah allow you to find it so that you can be greatful to Him and gain reward for that ameen :love:

and btw you reminded me I broke the catch on one chain and i have to go get it fixed insha allah, so thanks for that lol :cool:

2 years ago my fiance gave me a gold chain with a locket with my initals in it with crystals.. i wore it for a week and then broke the chain :p haha.. hes like u dont even wear the chain i gave u and im like ya i know i save it for special occasions :smack: he gave me a diamond ring 3 years ago and i lost that... and the watch he gave me ...

and my dad gave me a chain a long time ago and i broke that too... and... wow this list can go on and on forever....
