brothers mullah din and arfan, i have a question:
I would like to ask how to answer some questions that non-muslims ask, in a good way without putting them of islam but at the same time telling the true situation about islam and how great it is?
questions likethey ask as follows:
"your Prophet SAw married a 10yr old,omg!" :(
"why are non-muslims not allowed in the holy cities of makkah and madinah?"
"Why are 2 witnessess who are women , equivalent to only 1 witness who is a man?"
these are just some of them but i never know how to answer them without fear of turning them away from islam becos of the way i might have answered them?
ya ive told em to c heck this thread or u can pm them on MSN

questions like they (non-Muslims) ask as follows:
"your Prophet SAw married a 10yr old,omg!"
I thank you for posting this question, as often, the non-Muslims use vulgar language towards the Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam). May Allah Taa'la enable me to answer this question in the most professional manner safeguarding the dignity and honour of our beloved Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam). Aameen
Historically, it is not confirmed that she was 9 years old when she came in the household of the Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam); there are various reports from the age of 9 to the age of 24. Her maturity, knowledge, intelligence and contributions during the life of the Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) and afterwards all indicate that she was must have been older than 9. Nonetheless, who are we to judge?!
May Allah Taa'la forgive me for writing the next sentence; it may give the impression that I doubt my Nabi (NAQLLE KUFR, KUFR NABAASHAD), but, I'm writing it to make you understand - The Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur RAsulullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) committed no adultery or fornication with Hadhrat Aisha (Radi Allah Anha). She was His wife even before they consummated! The culture back then and still today in many parts of the world did allow for such marriage to take place.
Why DON'T you change the rules of the game and ask them:
Why does the BIBLE say:
If a man sells his daughter as a female slave, she is not to go free as the male slaves do.
If she is displeasing in the eyes of her master who designated her for himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He does not have authority to sell her to a foreign people because of his unfairness to her.
If he designates her for his son [Note: "his son" means that the master is either her father's age or even much older!], he shall deal with her according to the custom of daughters.
If he takes to himself another woman, he may not reduce her food, her clothing, or her conjugal rights.
If he will not do these three things for her, then she shall go out for nothing, without payment of money. (EXODUS 21:7-11)
THE QUESTION HERE SHOULD BE ASKED is "Did the daughter have any choice to be sold off by her father, married off by her master to either himself or his son?" The ANSWER, NO!
Also, the fact that the master can either marry her or marry her off to his son, means that MOST LIKELY, SHE IS HIS DAUGHTER'S AGE and younger than his son!! So he's probably at least 30+ years older than her. Yet, he himself (her father's age or even MUCH older) can marry her.
Also, it is believed by many Jews and Roman Catholics that Mary was 12 - 14 years old when she had Jesus (bearing in mind Mary was married according to them). Theey also say that the Biblical Prophets who had 100s of wives each most probably married young girls as well.
So, before any Muslims answer or verifythe age of Hadhrat Aisha (Radi Allah Anha) at her age, should get the questioner to answer the above statements.
May Allah Taa'la guide us all. Aameen.

Please, just print out my answer - give them my email address if they want further clarification and there's absolutely nothing wrong in having a civilised debate!
In this moment in time I have so much going on, i.e Shari'ah Council cases, replying to emails, etc, etc, that I don't know if I'm coming or going, or been and went! So, please remember me in your du'aas.
