As Salaamu Alaikum,
I've got dry skin under my beard. This is strange, since I don't have dry skin on my head. How can I get red of this.
Jazaak Allaahu Khair.
A bit of olive oil rubbed into the beard might help as would using a dandruff shampoo to wash your beard.

Shave it off. Put Cream on for 6 months then by then the beard will come back on

use baby oil or nivea moisturiser on your skin.....and comb your beard regularly applying oil/moisturiser. Its dry skin and after you do wudhu apply some moisturiser or oil. This will prevent the dryness.
And dont wash your face with soap use a facial wash which has loads of moisturises in it. I dont know any male ones but i wud reccommmend nivea...they r really good with mositurising. But i really think the most effective thing is oil. If oil doesnt do the trick then put a little vaseline.

It's possible that you didn't rinse it completely and this is why you have the dry skin. I was using dandruf shampoos on my beard too and it helps with my skin condition but eventually the skin condition won out and I had to shave

i dont think u shud shampoo your beard....cos it aint your scalp.....im not sure..its worth asking a brother but i think this is the reason why u have dry skin. Instead use a facial wash that has moisturisers and run that thru your beard. And apply a small amount of oil too.

if you use baby oil :insha: please avoid Johnsons&Johnsons (http://www.inminds.co.uk/boycott-johnson-and-johnson.html)
:insha: buy own brands - like Superdrugs ownbrand etc.

I have psoriasis. My doctor told me that shampoo can be used on any part of the body that has hair and that it is actually milder then most soaps on the skin so long as it is completely rinsed out. The problem is that as skin cells shed, if there is hair on that part, the dead cells can stick together due to the hair oils and not slough off like they do on other parts of the body. This is dandruff or dry skin. In severe cases like with psoriasis these can actually form so thick that you get bacteria acting on them and irritating healthy skin...that is the main cause of itchiness in a beard or scalp. The thicker the hair, the more likely it is to occur

That was my advice. Shave it off. Apply the treatment for so many days and then by then it will grow back again.
