I wear the monthly ones now, and I'm perfectly fine with them. However, my eyesight keeps getting worse. Unless I get eye surgery in next couple years, I may go blind. Without my contacts in or glasses on, I'm not even able to read this computer screen 8 inches away from my face. Even with contacts in, it's getting worse and I'm having trouble reading things far away or recognizing people.

Salamualikum.

I wear contact's but not coloured as my eye colour is blue already and don't need coloured, whereas i do wear clear ones at times for sight...

There alright but when im late then i don't bother wearing them...

ive had all that happen to me. but my eyes are perfectly fine. i dont have a bad eyesight alhamdulillah. i just wanna get even more comfortbale contact lense so my eyes dont get red.

Ask your optician for silicon hydrogel lenses certified for 30-day continuous wear...(ie. Bausche & Lamb PureVision or Purevision Toric - if you have astigmatism). They let the most oxygen through, and are the safest sort of contact lenses.

Having said they're continuous wear, don't wear then continuously if you wanna stay on the safe side - at least, I don't.

bint

ah cool okay..

yes my bros tellin me to go for bosche n lamb..

bint.. :p

you are already wearing the proclear compatibles..lol (they are the specsavers easy vision lenses you already wear)

continuous wear is good....though initially it can be abit of hassle cos you have to have quite regular visits in the beginning to make sure your eyes are reacting adversily, but after that annual checks are fine

i'd probably recommend night and day or biofinity

otherwise if you want to stick to just daily wear...acuvue advance or acuvue oasys are good (or even one of the continuous wear lenses for daily use...i think i recommended this already :p)

see your optician woman :p

I wear the Acuvue Oasys Bi-Weekly's. THey are soooooo comfortable. I can't even feel um. I forgot im wearing anything. I wore glasses for like 8-9 years and FINALLY got contacts, soo much relief cuz I play cricket and I can't wear the helmet with the glasses. Acuvue is a lil expensive but its good.

i used to wear the continuous ones i.e. the ones with a 2 year life warranty but then der was a lot of protein deposition on the lens  n i used to throw it away by the end of one year.
so now i wear the three monthly disposable, they r the best no risk of infection, contamination or protein deposition n even the water content in it is high so these lenses are very comfortable

bet the prescription is wrong...much more likely, cover one eye, and then the other, with your glasses on. Is there a difference between the eyes in the sharpness of the image? If there is, there's your cause of headache!
