i think it's best to just give up looking.... i mean, are you going to look for a potential one and then propose to him...?

As have some other Muslim women of the time. In Islam women are allowed to initiate proposals for marriage.

Absolutely, one shouldnt be worried of social norms and what community thinks.

Might feel a little flattered, but then I would think my masculinity was some how attacked *lol* But really it doesn't matter how I feel. If it's good enough for the Nabi (saw), then it's more than good enough for me.

I would take it seriously, and consider the proposal.
