Do you think I can get converted? Impress me!...Everything I have heard is in my opinion haraam or lame. Yet now and then I wish I could just hum a tune to something......

Poetry recited is nice.
People in my opinion have abused 'anasheed' to such extend it sounds like.. justin timberlake singing about Allaah...very music'ish

i know what u mean sis, the first nasheeds i heard were like these lame sufi chants:confused:, i like a bit of melody or bangy tunes, then i found jihaadi nasheeds:cool:, their nice and uplifting mashaAllah, i used 2 listen 2 house music and jihaadi nasheeds are not that dis-similar, obviously minus the bass, Naam Qaatil for example, but explosions and other effects make up for it mashaAllah, plus its Islamic, so u can play them as loud as u like:nuts:
theres also a lot of soft n gentle nasheeds from the likes of Ahmed Bukhatir thats really nice too and uve got tracks like Kalimitaan by Talib ul ilm, do a youtube search and check out the jihaadi nasheeds thread inshaAllah.
