This is a favour for a mate so I don’t really need to know anything about them (how they work/cost etc.), they have to stand out from the rest though.

I joined a couple of these sites :o but can't get over the 'meat market' feeling. One in particular, every time you sign on, you get a million 'interested in you' emails. Just doesn't seem right. You don't know who is on the other end, what their intentions are, what they really want... Making the mistake of actually getting in contact with a few of these people, seems all they want is pics of you, or webcam. :rubeyes:

umm..i dunno but...ma friend use these 2 sites qiran.com and muslima.com.

I would recommend staying away from qiran.com. Their administration and support are very unfriendly. When I requested to delete my profile, I was told by Cronomagic Canada Inc, the company that runs the site, that they had to submit my information to the US authorities (FBI and Home Land Security) first and I had to be investigated. The site is of general poor quality. For example, when you do a search, the same profiles appear over and over again in multiple pages, deceiving you on the number of search results. There is also no way to know if you already viewed a profile so you waste time viewing the same profiles over and over again. They claim one million profiles, but most of them are dormant profiles of people who last logged in months, even years ago. They don't delete those dormant profiles.

Best one that I know of also - know people who have met and married marsh'Allah from using the site!

Think the sites are merely a tool and have to be used with a common sense approach - use in same would use an introduction from a friend etc!
