I was about to get married to an intelligent and succesful man but it was not finalised.When the talk was going on, I used to see in my dream that someone is worshipping an idol to prevent or stop this marriage.After about 1 and half month, eventually the talks stopped and everything got cancelled.Even my aunt saw a dream that someone is harming the other side and we were shocked to find that they were hurt.During all this when I was reading Quran disturbed, I found a line saying If Allah takes something away, He will provide better.I have this strong belief that Allah WILL provide me with the best no matter what others try to do :inlove:.:inlove:

Whoever you consider marrying, it's always worth praying istikhara first and being open minded. It's good to know that you still seem upbeat about things in spite of not marrying the person you were considering:up:

Lol but it's true. People think marriage is another phase in life that is sure to happen as them growing taller. Some rush into it and end up with unhappy marriages that ruin their lives. Marriage, sisters, is not something out of Bollywood. You don't meet your spouse in torrential rain under the moon light.
No..you'll probably see them in your living room, sitting down, whilst your made to serve tea or something. And they'll turn you into baby factories and and...well. That's pretty much the jist of it

If you want something, you go and get it!
And you do not stop until you have it.
same with everything, even paradise. if someone wants paradise. they will dedicate their whole life to achieving it by pleasing allah!!!

yes this is true for some people but it doesnt mean we should stop making dua for it if we want marriage in our lifetime.
Those who do not end up getting married in this lifetime, i believ is for 2 reasons:
1) They are being tested, i.e. for their sabr, keeping their chastity etc etc
2) and also Allah swt might be saving them from something i.e. somtimes people get married and their life is worse than wen they were single, they go thru absolute turmoil, it comes back to the saying that Allah swt TRULY knows what is best for us, and if we dont get married then we know it was for our own good.
If you want something, you go and get it!

getting married is a decision... not something that just happens. who makes the decision? yourself! :)
