Salam Alekum Dear Brothers & Sisters,
In the last ten days of Ramadhaan, there is Laylat Al-Qadr (the Night of Revelation). ...
(The Night of Revelation) in which every precise matter of wisdom is made distinct and all events of the coming year are decreed. It is on this night that angels descend from the heavens and blessings become abundant....
Abu Hurayrah (radhiallahu `anhu) narrated that the Messenger (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:
"Whoever stands (in qiyaam) in Laylat ul-Qadr [and it is facilitated for him] out of faith and expectation (of Allah's reward), will have all of his previous sins forgiven."
So Insha Allah to get all this great reward of:
1. All of your previous sins forgiven!!
Plus..
2. 80 years of pure worship of Allah Swt in your hasanat (good deeds) Credit...
The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months . Quran 97:3
(i.e. worshipping Allâh in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months).
1 000 months = 83.3333333 years
What you have to do is extra simple Insha Allah:
Wake up approx. 1-2 hour before your Suhur in the last ten days of Ramadan (for one of these nights is surely the Night of Revelation)
Make your wudu...
Then
just pray two Rakaa'h or more if you wish...
As for the best supplication on this mubarak night , would be :
`A'ishah (radhiallahu `anha) reported that she asked Allah's Messenger (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam), "O Messenger of Allah! If I knew which night is Laylat ul-Qadr, what should I say during it?" And he instructed her to say:
"Allahumma innaka
`afuwwun tuh.ibbul `afwa
fa`fu `annee -
( O Allah! You are forgiving,
and you love forgiveness.
So forgive me.")
Leyla al-Qadr is said to fall on one of the odd-numbered nights of the last ten days of the month (21st, 23rd, 25th, or 27th.. of Ramadan).
The 27th of Ramadan is usually highly recommended Insha Allah.....
May We ask Allah Swt to grant us the success of praying and supplication on that great night!!!
