highly recommend to all insha'Allaah :D
please take someone you know who may be spending Eid alone :up:
especially new reverts as they need to experience Eid amongst other Muslims insha'Allaah and think of all the people who you know yet don't call or text until Eid and invite them too and also don't forget the kids :D :D
I think ALfitrah is organising this event, it must be very good Inshallah.

There was no funfair today :( but mashallah a sister told me 5000 ppl turned up for the eid congregation... had to take my bruvas sum where else... neways the funfairs on 2mrw so if neones cuming :D:D

The event was REALLY GOOD MASHA ALLAH!!! Or so I heard...and saw...from the queue outside...Alhamdulillah.
It was my fault though, I came abit late so did random so I guess we suffered the same. No problem, next time Insha Allah.

LOOOL well if u wanna TORTURE urself after waking up at 5AM IN THE MORNING hehehe and driving in from the countryside
i took both of em on the tea cup ride first, got sum munch and then put the lil one in one ride and the older one in anuva ride and then HEHEHE the best bit when alll u's lot went the RIDES went back on!!!!! i dnt know wat the rides are called but hehehe 3 RIDES hehehe.... i put the lil one in a proper scary adult ride i fort he was gonna have a lil heart attack !!!!!
but yer :hidban::hidban::hidban: u missed out random :D:D:D

I didnt go to this event but i know some sisters who did go ... it wasa flop, the police told everyone to go home for safety and health reasons . it was over crowded (there were meant ot be only 3000 people but there was more) and there were only a few rides , the sis who told me said there were like four rides (she could have been exaggerating lol) but people were trying to get through gates to skip Q's for the rides etc ... sounded terrible !
When will us muslims get it lol ... when will be able to organise properly ! I know its the thought & effort counts but subhanallah.

anyhow, Insha'Allah next year they should learn from their mistakes and improve it.

lol the 3 rides they did have there, were EXACTLY the 3 rides i wuda chosen to go on if i went to a funfair... u knw those spinny circle spin spin thing, kinda like tea cups, then that other 1 tht like flings u, and bumper cars :D then loadsa inflatable stuff :D
it was actually pretty funny that all these ppl q'in up for just a few rides, bt i dno.... they shuda let all the kids go on and made adults wait kids are anyone under 14 including me since im under 14 at heart :D
lol but its kinda funny that when we organise stuff it dusnt really happen :o plus was just nice to see people i knew on eid that i normally wudnta got to see :D plus they had a playground... nt tht i cud do much bt watchin the kids is fun anyway :D

hmmmmmmmm insha'Allah i think for eid al adha... but like there was a tent and there was like 2 seperate entrance thingys... and then like there was a barrier like from almost the ceiling down... that was the 1st day.... im sure BINT ISLAM can tell u abt the 2nd :torture:

Uno wat subhanallah this event was for kids to remember eid and i dnt understand why ppl complaining because alhamdullilah liek random sed we got out saw a few familiar faces etc :D:D
plus seeing my bruvas happi and enjoying themselves realli makes my day cuz then u fink ah alhamdullilah i realli hope they remember eid as a fun day out. :inlove:
ye well sister if u try telling kids aged btw 3 - 10 that u cant go inside :rubeyes::rubeyes: ur gonna try other routes lol even if it means gettin in under the gates lool :D:D :o:o
and alhamdullilah they had a MASSIVE tent thing where u cud pray zuhr, asr and maghrib and they EVEN HAD WADU facilities :up:

When they booked an entire theme park, they had to cancel the event cuz no one was going :smack:

I just wanted to reply to all some of the cruel comments posted by some brothers and sisters in this forum about the 1EID event.
This whole event was to revive a sunnah of Muhammed(S) in London and move the Eid prayer from the masjid into the open so that all Muslims can gather and celebrate Eid together. And Alhamdulliah we might of got some things wrong but this aspect was done perfectly!
And our second goal was to make sure that our children felt Eid like other children around the world. Yeah we might of had a few baby rides but seriously what were you expecting Thorpe Park.
Al Fitrah done this whole event free for us Muslims so for us to belittle their effort is wrong. Some of the helpers didn't even celebrate Eid with their families or pray salat Eid.
So a little reminder please think before you say something and if you do have a structural criticism please email info@1eid.net. And if you think you can make next 1Eid better and perfect then this Eid please support the 1Eid Commitee with your time or money Inshallah.
And there is no doubt that mistakes were made so I ask you all to forgive the Al Fitrah Brothers and Sisters and I ask you all to mention them in your prayers.
