Not all men leave their wives. Some wives leave their good husbands.

Not all men leave their children. Some men have their children taken away, because courts favor mothers. Some mothers to be have abortions, even when the father wants the child.

Too many people have too many diseases of the heart.

:( I know the issue is the other way around too

I just wana vent and focus on men for the time being, what makes a guy leave his wife who is pregnant with his child? Especially when no reason is given whatsoever? why? :(

Okay.

Cowardice, selfishness, could be many things sister…..I dunno. Who, what kind of person really does something like that? I don’t think there is any justifiable answer for leaving your pregnant wife. It’s madness. It takes a special kind of person I guess. It’s a sad world sometimes. :(

indeed, JazakAllaah khair.

It's not that I don't have trust in Allaah swt, I am just annoyed that a man who has responsibility for his wife and children to take care of them will leave them to pursue a life of 'ease' and pleasure.

I can't comprehend it and abhor this trait sooo sooo much,

I don't think there is anything wrong with men leaving their wives if both parties are unhappy and want to be apart, but if they leave for some trivial or selfish reason then maybe the women are better off without such a spineless individual in their lives.

People, male or female, who desert their kids need stringing up to the nearest tree with piano wire, in my opinion. There's just no excuse for walking out on a child, it is cowardly, selfish and utterly contempible.

true it is a sad world :(

it's just strange, sometimes people are given so much barakah in their lives such as their family and offspring and yet they are so damn ungrateful... jus crazy

I don’t get that either. There are people in the world, who would do all sorts to have a child, and then here’s someone who can walk away so easily. It’s a tragedy. I feel for the child, but ultimately Allah will be its protector.

I don’t have any children yet, but some of my best friends do, and seeing them, I wish I had a wife who was pregnant. Some of us would never walk away.

You've hit the nail on the head there - I know a few men who have walked out on their wives for purely selfish reasons and they all regretted it at some point in the future when life didn't turn out how they expected. They have all expressed regret for not being grateful for what they had and always wanting more, more, more.

As the saying goes, sometimes you don't realise what you've got until it is taken away from you.

I think to some yes. I know it sounds odd to us and quite bizarre but its similar to how some people have commitment issues! they just cannot take that one step further into marriage cos they are scared of commitment. I think its that case its good not to go into something which you know (think maybe)? you cant handle cos atleast youre then not hurting anyone. In the situation you mentioned- some people are just utterly selfish and stupid.

If they can't handle it they shouldn't put themselves in that situation to begin with!
Poor babies :(

I don't think and I pray that this is not the issue for this particular case I have come across. Insha'Allaah it isn't.
