Assalamalikum Dear brothers and sisters,

Just to advise you that here in Bradford the most famous Cheese and Onion Pasties contain animal Fat.

They have withdrawn these from sale but will re sell them with a label that states that they contain "ANIMAL FAT" :hidban::hidban::hidban:

Check with your nearest Greggs Store and please pass this message on.

they keep their tools seprate as they use separate tongs and i thought the pasties come ready made and all they do is bake them in th eshop...about the sandwiches...hmmm...i thinks there may be some contamination...just like at subways :(

tis why husbands get their wifeys to make yummy sandwiches for them ibn S ;)

Considering the effort they are going to for muslims, you should still like them:

ive not been eating greggs simply cos of the fact they do not always be careful of baking em in seperate trays. an asian muslim told me this..she works in greggs.

neitehr are the sandwiches halal;, as they are mixed with other meats and handling isnt done seperately.

stayed away from it for 2 yrs. nowt speacial abour greggs.

tayyeba bakery is better.

 Buying cheese and onion pasties from Greggs when they are snuggled up nicely between the sausage rolls and ham and cheese pasties...

Plus, you never know what they baked on the trays before your "veggie" pasties etc...
