Xtroadinary stories from hajj this year

met a few friends that came back from hajj the other day

they told me quite some xtroadinary stories.. (there is no link or website to this)

In Muzdalifah the ground opened up one nite and swallowed this pakistani man up and then it closed again...it happened within the space of seconds..when people tried to dig to find the man they cud not find his body anywhere.........

Also this girl got murdered this year in hajj..young girl...some guy killed him. :-(

Please, don't say anything that may prevent or delay Muslims from performing the Hajj. :(

Something positive! Alhamdulillah so many youngsters went this year. :up: And there are lots of young brothers already arranging to go next year, inshaAllah. Also it is great to see more Muslims are adopting hijab, and wearing the beard.
May Allah(swt) make the Ummah strong, Amin.

The news about the people being trampled was reported in the papers and i was shocked. I mean why do people have to behave in this manner????? If you see the pushing and shoving done by people to kiss the black stone.....I'm amazed at this kinda behaviour by the muslims. I thought people would have been at thier best behaviour when they went for a pilgrimage. Where do all the teachings of islam in regards to deceny and etiquette disappear?????

Sajid! This is sensationalism! Probably exageration or invention of incidents.

As for trampling. That happens every year. You have no idea how crowded it gets. People just do not see the person falling down, especially those behind the incident who relentlessly move forward behind you.

What really ticks me are people stoning the Jamat from far too far away "over the heads" of those in front of them. Instead of stoning the jamat, they stone the people standing nearest to the jamat patiently awaiting 'their turn'.

The Kid! Your right about the struggle for the black stone. The struggle is worse because the men and women try to stay segregated. So us girls are forced to try to approach the stone from the wrong side perpendicularly, so to speak, while the men surge from alongside the kaba. The best thing is not to struggle to get through or past those before you, but to salute the black stone from afar with "Allahu akbar".

it's only sunnah to kiss the black stone, yet people commit haraam to get to it. they end up walking away with more sins than rewards.

if you wanna kiss the black stone... this is how you do it...
wait around after dhuhr salaah near the ka'ba.... on certain days, the cleaners put a rope around the ka'ba to keep people away so they can clean the floor. now if you're between the rope and the ka'ba they will make guys form a queue on one side of the ka'ba and women on the other side (adjacent to the black stone) then one at a time people will get a chance to kiss the black stone with absolutely no pushing and shoving!! i got to kiss it a few times using this method! :up:
