Diamonds And Pearls

The following incident took place when Muhammed Ali's daughters arrived at his home wearing clothes that are not modest. Here is the story as told in detail by one of his daughters:

When we finally arrived, the chauffer escorted my youngest sister, Laila, and me to my father's suite. As usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day.

My father took a good look at us. Then he sent me down in his lap and said something I will never forget. He looked me straight in the eyes and said, "Hana, everything that God made valuable in the world covered and is hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down and in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock. You've got to work hard to get them."

He looked at me with serious eyes. "Your body is sacred. You're far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too."

hehe, close akhee, kinda. Plural of ukht is ukhwaat *smiles*

You can find it in Surah Nur, surah 24, ayah regarding those who's house you may enter and eat from etc.

And also, you got the iyakum bit correct but you forgot to add it to the barak'Allah bit. So it would be barak'Allahu feeKUM like you did with the iyaak.

Sorry, man I feel like teacher, must stop acting like one outside of hours lol.

p.s jazak'Allahu khair for the articleage.

Wa3laykum Salaam Wa Ra7matullah

Yea, it should be barak'Allahu feekum ukhwaat becaase everything is plural. You're speaking to a group of sisters [ikhwaat] and saying may Allah bless you [barak'Allahu feekum], not to one of them [barak'Allahu feeki], but to all of them.

Comprehende? Dont know if that made sense lol.

muhammad alis daughters if u see them on t.v news or whatever, u will see them standing half naked in shorts and bikini top..as his daughter laila is a boxer, audu billah the other hana doesnt wear hijab or cover either.

they did not take their fathers beautiful advise so its a bit bizzare that they put his advise which they dont accept or beleive in, into their book... nest pas...?

i see,

in my opinion, children do best when lead by example, if their mother does not wear hijab (i don't know if she does/did) then you can't really expect or preach to the children too

Anyway, take from Abu Mus'ab insha'Allah, his arabic is much better than mine, I only studied arabic for a short period of time [alhamdulilah what I do know] whereas hes been studying for donkey years masha'Allah.

Back on topic, yes sisters precious..
