a lot of the "designs" are unnecessary and attracts a lot of attention

and how the guy demonstrates to wear the decorated hijaab a certain way so that the designs show more clearly :smack:

the "bandana style hijaab" looked the funniest.. with the little bow thing sticking out on the side of the head haha :D

i cant even begin to understand these stupid so called

stylish ways of doin hijab why are they necessary? its another thing that

really really irritates me.

the hijab issuposed to be a modest dress and plain and simple. your not

supposed to stick fancy attractive, light cathing, eye cathing pins on them!

it defeats the purpose of the hijab. whats even more ridiculous is the way he

was gathereing all the material at her neck and all her chest and shoulders

were bare... :torture:

i cant believe how stupid this is i am really  now

and as for Vogue, what is it? it a big fashion name which doesn't exactly

promote the most modest clothng. why should you let their name influence

your clothing when it doesn't represent any islamic ideoligies?

one last thing also about all this different fancy material and designs like

chiffon that you can get hjabs in. i personally think that this is such

a defeatist factor in wearing the hijab as it will look more attractive than a

normal black or any other duller coloured hijab, and so is bound to attract

attention.

i'm sure one of the many wisdoms behind hijab, was the fact that this helps

everyone feel on the same level and doesn't make anyone look more

fashionable or wealthy or well to do than others , which promotes a unity and

a no classes approach to the way we dress. clothing can be a symbol of

class and wealth (for example not the best exemple but as a suit is

considered to be a more higher class outfit than other clothing and then you

have the different brands) this is not what hijab was meant to be.

so it shouldn't matter what your hijab is whether its a vogue hijab or a non-

vogue hijab, it should matter how you cover with it...
